(Adults only) Criteria:
1) Intermediate to advanced level. (not for beginners) If used to be intermediate but are rusty- that's OK.
2) Able to play the Major scale (do re mi fa sol la ti do) in all 12 keys (or the ability to figure it out by ear)
We all have creativity inside us waiting to be awakened by the power of music. Are you a musician, music teacher, aspiring student or professional that plays or has played a musical instrument but never got the chance (permission?) to explore on your own? Every instrument has its own unique beauty and offers endless possibilities to express the music you are playing. If you play classical music but are afraid of improvisation/composition, or if you used to play an instrument sometime in your life, but it is collecting dust because you lost inspiration to pick it up, and or, if you are already exploring your creativity with music but are stuck in a rut or just want to explore more, this course will help you tremendously. In this course we will
deal with the exploration of music and ear development giving you the building blocks which lead to growth both musically and personally.
The benefits from this course are not genre bound, as your creativity can be shaped for any musical style. All instrumentalists welcome.
